Final Standings for the 2009-2010 Series

After all twelve of the events remaining on the schedule for the 2009-10 Western Carolina Hunter Pace & Trail Ride Series, first and foremost accolades go to the riders who have persevered in supporting all (or almost all) of our community events with their attendance. The 100% Support Plaques will be awarded to Darbie Barr, Chris Britton, Kelly Cannon, Liz Crawley, Nancy Finkell, James Kennedy, Debra Kennerly, Peggy McMakin, Ali Merritt, Boots Plyler, Amanda Stickley, Mary Tolles and Bobby Turner, with Support Plaques presented to Stephanie Culbertson, Thomas Pluemper, Kelsey Spicer and Kris Yon.

And now to the overall final standings:

Field Hunters: 275

• Grand Champion for the current Series is Field Hunter, Liz Crawley with 39 Series points.

• Reserve Champion title in the Field Hunter Division goes to Betty Hill with 32 Points.

• Judy Heinrich finished the Series in First Place with 29 Series points.

• Gail Patton, Debbie Thrasher and Kris Yon tied for Second Place with 28 points.

• Sharon Carden moved up and finished in Third Place with 23 Series points.

• Bill Boger and Sherry Wyatt tied for Fourth with 22 points.

• Baiba Bourbeau, Duane & Harlene Harm ended the Series tied for Fifth Place with 21 Series Points.

• Darbie Barr, Terry Boger, Beatrice Lamb and Thomas Pluemper tied for Sixth with 20 points.

• Stephanie Culbertson and Kelsey Spicer finished the Series in a tie for Seventh Place with 19 points each.

• Roberta Axelrod, Kathy & Ric Rondell and Sue Smolka tied for Eighth with 18 Series Points apiece.

• Sinclair Berdan, April McCormack and Dean McKinney have 17 points each to earn them Ninth Place ribbons.

• Linda Matthews took Tenth Place honors with an accumulation of 16 Series Points.

• Anita Crouse, Kathy Godsey, Anne Spicer and Eileen Taylor have each earned 15 points.

• Ilena Budde, Amy Gantt, Rodney Hawk, and Lisa Tyler have fourteen points each for this Series.

• Kathy Bethka has earned 13 Series points.

• Michael Axelrod, Nancy Finkell, Ann Fratcher, Michelle Parish and Bobby Turner have earned 12 Series points.

• Dan Bates has and accumulation of 11 points for the 2009-2010 Series.

• Sara Crouse, Roberta McKinney, Casey Morris and Nancy Reynolds have each earned ten points.

• Nine points each have been earned by Ken Feagin, Suess Frazer, Freda Jessen, Katelyn Jones, Cindy & Karen Kaufman.

• Jennifer Smith takes the Reserve Championship with 34 Points for the 2009-2010 Series.

• Amanda Stickly earned the First Place ribbon with 29 points at the finish

• Boots Plyler takes Second Place honors with 28 Series points.

• Victoria Bailey earned 26 points for Third Place in the Trail Division of the 2009-2010 Series.

• Chris Britton and Peggy McMakin came in Fourth Place with 23 points this Series.

• Mary Tolles earned Fifth Place with 22 Series Points.

• Ruth Ann DeHollander, James Kennedy, Ali Merritt and Erin Plyler finish the Series in Sixth Place with 21 points.

• Andrew Clark’s last event placement brought him up into Seventh Place for the 2009-2010 Series with an accumulation of 20 Points.

The Year End Awards Gathering, scheduled for June 20th, to benefit HALTER is set as one last fun event before we take our summer break.
