| Western Carolina Hunter Pace & Trail Ride Series Reported by: Jan Smith After eight of the sixteen scheduled events of the 2011-12 Western Carolina Hunter Pace & Trail Ride Series, the standings are as follows: Total # Riders: 588 Field Hunters: 219 Doug McMillan and Brittany Whitmire are currently tied in the lead with a current accumulation of 25 Series points. Sarah Hendricks and Vickie Smith are close behind in Second with 24 Series points at this writing. Carolyn & Brian MacCormack are currently in Third Place with a count of 23 points apiece. Beth Goldizen is in Fourth with an accumulation of 22 Series points to date. Baiba Bourbeau, Beatrice Lamb and Marie Solomon are current tied for Fifth place with 21 points each. Amy Gantt is in Sixth with 20 Series points at this time. Stephanie Schulte has earned 18 Series points to date for Seventh place.
